Its been atleast a month or 2 since ive worked on one of these, however im sure this will help you. If you follow the throttle cable to the carburetor (see my pic) on the throttle side of quad it will go into the side of the carburetor. You can remove the plate (circled in pink) to expose cable. Once plate is removed, you can see (circled in yellow) where the throttle cable end locks into. Carefully manuever the cable to come out. Do whatever you need to do, and do the opposite to reinstall. Hey changing the key start is easy just need to look on eBay they are like 5-20.
Dollars the wire for key start is in the front of your quad unhook the old one and add a new one

Take the hose off at the water pump at the rear bottom right of engine
