Check the cost of a new switch at the dealer parts dept. Then google " motorcycle salvage honda " and see what a switch would cost there.

Pleas rate this solution. Thanks Chad! :)

SOURCE: 1982 Honda XL 125, stripped

Your XL125 ignition system is designed to run off of battery power. You can remove all the lights but need to leave the battery, regulator, rectifier, and appropriate wiring in place. It is not designed to run like an ATC 110 (no battery) or a 2 stroke where you can run a single wire to a kill switch and down to the coil to power the spark plug. Put the harness, the regulator, the rectifier, and the battery back in and you should be in business.

Hi there is a wrench symbol displaying on the gauge cluster on my honda foreman 2014 atv what does it mean

That is equivalent to a "Check Engine" light, meaning that a condition exists which requires attention. Check all fluid levels, and readout codes from the ECU as a starting point for diagnosis.

Honda forman 1995 throttle handle getting verry hot. why?

If you bought it used, you probably weren't told someone had installed a heated grip. There are two types: One is the actual grip with a heating element and the other is a thin heating element that tapes onto the handle bar and the grip is slip back over it. Look to see if either on are present on your ATV. If so you may have a thermostat or HI-LO switch to lower the heat.

LOL.. Hey.. yea.. a lot of time, a 10mm wrench, a #2 Phillips head and a 3/16" flat blade screwdriver to pop out the black plugs... do this carefully and not damage them so you can reuse them.
This is NOT a hard project.. just TIME consuming, using common sense!!

Take your battery to O'Reilly's or AutoZone and have the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) checked..(load test).. this WILL tell you if your battery is good or not. Once you have a good battery,,you must isolate each item (one at a time) you are trying to check/eliminate as a suspect problem
