I bet you have a nylon bushing that has gotten brittle and disintegrated. Your local Kawasaki dealer should have an exploded view of your machine. Look to where the linkage and cable meet on both ends.

Identify the fuse responsable for turn signals, extract it and insert another one with the same value in it's place. Also could be turn's signals relay fault.
