Have a 2007 artic cat atv 400 4by 4 automatic, Has continuous high idle and idle screw doesn't help. These atvs wont shift properly at high idle and so this is a problem. Is this electric choke problem.
Does your artic cat have a carb cable if so it will have an adjustment or a clamp on the cable where it attaches to the linkage..check make sure it is set to low idle..and your idle screw is adjusted to low idke..meaning cable adjusted to lowest possible position when the throttle is released..then make your final adjustment using you idle screw..good luck

sounds like a dead battery, if not than its probably the rectifire. if you need me to help i can.
please 1. check fuses 2.check spark using a timing light then 3. fuel with a fuel pressure gauge if no spark replace ignition module; if no gas replace fuel pump
