2004 yamaha warrior 350 no spark

I just bought it from a guy that stripped it to paint the frame and he didn't know how to put it back together. I got all the wiring back together and it's kicking over fine but no spark at all. If anyone has a wiring diagram for a 2004 warrior or that can give me some advice would realy help. Thanks

SOURCE: yamaha warrior won't start

a yamaha warrior isnt a 2 stroke. they make a street bike nad a four stroke quad. Check your carburator. check your spark plug and check your stator. it may be very minor considering it was running fine then just went out. no noise or anything. you would have heard something if you broke something internal.

SOURCE: yamaha warrior atv [yfm 350] bogging problem

Try checking the switch for your parking brake. It is the top wire in the clutch handle boot. This wire connects to your CDI box, and restricts the RPM's while the parking brake is engauged. To find out for sure, trace the wire down to the plug under the headlight assembly and disconnect it. Now try starting you machine and give it some throttle!

Have an 1987 Yamaha moto 4 350 has spark with key off and no spark when key is on

Sounds like you have a bad igntion switch or other electrical gremlin somewhere. If this is something you bought like this, then I would get a service manual with a wiring diagram and ensure the wires on the key switch are in the right positions.

Yamaha YZ quad won't start no spark

Forget the engine number it means nothing. The 17 digit serail number is what you need. It is on the black main frame L.H. side in front of footpegs. That will tell you what model year & size the bike is.
Next, No Spark (a very common problem) is never the ignition coil bad. First, ck that the plug is not black fouled (replace--don't clean). Second, make sure the kill switch is on run. Third, It is probably(95%) a bad Stator/Pulser coil in the L.H. side of the motor that can be checked with a ohm meter at a Yamaha dealership easily.

Yamaha yfm 350 warrior wont keep idle

Replace the idle jet (don't clean) with a new one from a Yamaha OEM only $5.00 & make sure the idle mixture adjustment on the bottom of the carb. is set 3 1/2 turns out from seated in (a brass screw ---Don't over tighten & break off the needle tip). Also , be sure the choke is all the way off or it won't idle either.

95% of the time it's the Stator / Pulser coil in the L.H. side of the motor.

My spark plug has no spark for my yamaha warrior 350. How would i fix this problem?

1. replace the spark plug with a new one...
2. check all your on/ff - kill switch(s)
3. If it still will not spark, you will probably need to find a pro with a service manual to start checking electrical system values...

My 1998 yamaha warrior atv isnt starting the starter is turning the crankshaft but the spark plug isnt getting any spark. My mechanic says that the catch coil in the magneto system could be junk but he...

There is no voltage specification listed in my manual but it does specify that the charge coil resistance test should be between 270 - 330 ohms and the pulse(pickup) coil should test from 171 - 209 ohms, figures listed are for coils around room temperature of 20 degress celcius
