Does this happen after the computer has been running for a while? Chances are, the CPU is overheating. Do you hear the fan running at all?

With 2GB RAM or more you can install/run Windows 7 on it and it should run okay (in my humble opinion).

To install Windows 7 no need for RAID driver. If you face issues in installing Windows 7 disable RAID in BIOS, install Windows 7 and then install RAID driver.

is this only a HDD in your hand; no PC there.
and running killdisk.exe (free program)

there is no crack of any HDD passwords.
in fact that is the #1 goal of such and encryption system.
toshiba, has no forum.
they tell you there at there web site to go to toms hardware, and not us.
we have no password hacks here, in fact are illlegall to do.
but you can google Toshiba Password hacks all day,.
window is easy
hdd pw. impossible
bios PW , toss coin, some easy some very very hard,
the newer the PC the harder it is.

Loss a BIOS PASSWORD> or worse , HDD encryption? keys>?
what makes you think it has one?

Toshiba has no forum now.
So come here and not to as Toshiba asks onl there website.
So if TOM is no help and if Toshiba is no help (they are not)
then why not google all day , or watch then endless parade of youtubes on this topic.

why not first state the problem
and asks for help.
and not vague jumpers. please.
answered here this way on fixya 100s of times.
if the OEM is no help
and you lost your PW
use youtube. (or google for weeks on end..........)
