On my HP (Not an 8620) there was a part on the back of the printer that I had to remove to get to the jammed paper that I couldn't see. I believe it just had two push-in latches. Hope it helps.

First, you have to remove some screws from underneath the sewing machine. There are one or two small Phillips head screws and one or two, possibly three (I am writing this from memory) larger hex head ones. If you have the back cover off, you can see where the motor screws are: you do not need to remove them. then pry or pull of the large knob. You will notice that the hole in the front that the knob came from is oval, it extends downward from the knob shaft: that allows you to slide that part of the front upwards and off. The left side either comes up or moves to the right to release. However!! Are you sure you need to open this? The three dials you then have access to can be difficult to realign if they separate from their linkage, and there is not much that you gain from this maneuver.

That is an odd error message that is not mentioned anywhere. Try this, Open the cover, turn all the lights off. Pull the mains plug, count to 30 and replace it. Wait 5 minutes, close the cover and then turn the lights on.

I DON'T KNOW. FOR SMALL LIQUID INK CARTRIDGES
USED IN SMALL HOME PRINTERS, YOU CAN JUST HAVE THEM REFILLED. MOST PRINTERS ONLY SHOW A
PRETEND INK LEVEL. AT THE FIRST SIGN OF FADING, STOP AND REFILL OR REPLACE. ON MY CANON INK JET PIXMA PRINTER, I CAN BY PASS THE MAKE BELIEVE 'OUT OF INK' NOTICE BY HOLDING DOWN START BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS.
