Sadly, what is an error code on one device may mean one thing and something quite different on another device. You have posted in the Office category and the two primary devices which pop up if you google just the error code involve a refrigerator and an air craft. It is always helpful to identify the device, brand, and model when posting a query. If the device is a Samsung fridge, the error code appears associated with the ice maker sensor. The repair involves replacement of a part, the ice maker control assembly, a task you are unlikely to be doing around the office. However, without knowing the brand and model, this is clearly guesswork as to whether it applies --just as I am guessing aircraft is not involved.

How do I turn the ringer on?

You can purchase a package of calibration sheets from the Ambir site: https://www.ambir.com/product-category/scanner-accessories/page/2/ . You can use a plain white sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper as a temporary calibration sheet. The image quality won't be as good but it will work.

I hope this helps.
