When you turn the tv on continuously push the input/menu button. Really fast. The tv will only acknowledge your pressing it when you turn it on as its starting up. Thats the only way i have found to get our of pic mode without a remote

The 4 blinking lights is usually a indication of a power problem. You can try to reset it to factory defaults.
Step 1: Remove the power cord.
Step 2: Hold down the power button and Volume down button at the same time. Do this for at least 15 seconds before going to step 3, this will clear all electrical from the board.
Step 3: While still holding the 2 buttons down plug the cord back in. Then about 5 seconds later release.
If that doesn't work and it only stays on for a second or two then the monitor part its self has gone bad.

Try a full reset. Take the batteries out of the remote for 10 minutes. Unplug the TV from the power for the same time. Put batteries back in and plug the TV back in. Its not guaranteed to work but its all I can suggest.

If it has one you would have to call Samsung with the model for it and instructions.

Usually this info is only available to authorized Samsung repair shops.

Your manual should be able to help you program your tv. If you lost it then look at this site.

All tvs are not the same. You will need the manual that comes with your tv or replacement remote. If you need a manual, check this site.

You don't have to open the remote exactly. You have to pull the battery compartment out. It's in the middle of the bottom edge of the remote on the back. There's a slight ridge that you should use to help you grip the compartment cover while you slide it towards yourself. Just make sure not try to pull too far off the center of the battery compartment.

This is shown in the manual on page 12. ManualsLib has this page of the manual here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/97776/Magnavox-Mpd820.html?page=12#manual .

I hope this helps.
