Step 1
Uninstall the driver that you have installed recently.
Open Devices and Printers by clicking theStartbuttonclip_image001.jpg, and then, on the Start menu, clickingDevices and Printers.
Right click the printer-> Click on Properties-> click theDrivertab, and then clickUninstall. Follow the instructions.
Now download the drivers from the following link and install it and check if it helps.

Install the driver and check if it helps.
Step 2
Try the Printer troubleshooter, which will attempt to automatically diagnose and fix your problem.
Open the Printer troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel.
In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, clickUse a printer.
Next, try updating the printer driver on your computer. Printer problems sometimes stem from out-of-date driver software, and can be solved by installing-or reinstalling-the latest driver.

I had same thing happen after a fresh Windows install. It was hard to figure out since it had been working fine until then, but luckily it is simple to fix. Open the Start Menu > Settings > Printers and Faxes folder. Then right-click on the Canon MF4100 Series printer and choose Printing Preferences. In there, change the Paper Size to Letter (instead of A4). You may also have to do this in the Print setup for whatever program you're using to print.

This error should be followed by an ID (Imaging Device) number. Replace that imaging device. Be forewarned, these are extremely expensive.
