Look into all the settings, some of these has a setting to turn internal speaker jacks on and off. I have a casio that can turn them off when playing into the computer.

You don't need to reset factory.
You just need to change the setting of LOCAL CONTROL.
Lets start :::
While holding TONE / SETTING button,press key D#7 at 7th octave (highest octave on the right hand). Then release. That's all.
Then the sound must be heard..

I had this problem when I operated mine in the `studio shed` it in the winter, try warming it up with a hair dryer, even better dont use it in `freezing` conditions

I would guess this is less than 3 years old and assuming you registered you will have a 3 year warranty so they'll probably fix it for you FOC
