CHECK AT A LOCAL GARAGE DOOR COMPANY

Building... | Answered Yesterday

Hi.
Normally you need to push the door lock back to the lock position, lock it first and then unlock it with the remote again.
It should unlock as normal.
Let us know if it works. :)

It means that the screen folds or rolls away into an enclosure rather than being like a traditional opening door or sliding screen door. https://www.phantomscreens.com/

There could be many problems, and as no is there to look at it the best bet is to call Chamberlain for help. the number is listed in the instructions that came with unit. Check safety beam that has two eyes should be about 6 inches from floor on both side of door. The should both be on, if not follow directions for installation. Many people get the wire crossed.

If the opener is the Merlin ProLift 430R, then there should be a Red learn button under the green control panel cover on the left side of the front of the garage door opener. (There is a black cover on the right side of the front of the opener.) See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/886850/Merlin-Prolift-430r.html?page=4#manual for a picture of the control panel. The learn button is in the center of the set of three buttons between the open and close force dials.

To use the learn button, you need to press and hold the button for 1-2 seconds until the courtesy lamp flashes. If you hold the button for 11 seconds or more, the garage door opener will forget all of the remotes. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/886850/Merlin-Prolift-430r.html?page=6#manual .

I hope this helps.

Clean the sensors, make sure there is nothing within 6" of them, turn off the power, count to 10 and plug is back in.

I'll take a guess it thinks something is in the way, maybe a box on the floor would clear but it sees it on the electric eye. Something like that. Sometimes it's a staple fastening wire as it is run to the opener. Possible shorting out the two wires that doesn't allow the motor to start to close door. If maybe remote, it may not be coded to the opener, get manual or internet to find out procedure out to do that.

The Coromaster 2000 does not operate off limit switches. It has a quarter-revolution optical pulse counter. To re-program the open and close limits do the following: Ensure that the door is open at least a couple of feet. Press the reset button once or twice Short out pushbutton and common and hold until close limit and then release. Door should stop at your new close limit. Wait 5 seconds. Short out pushbutton and common and door will open. Hold the short until open limit and then release. Limits should now be set.
