On 31 ford coupe. When brake is pushed, the turn signals don’t work.
The turn signals had to have been added, check to make sure you're using the correct bulbs I believe the number is 1157 also check the hazard switch part of the aftermarket turn signal switch to make sure it either works or is turned off. It the hazard switch is connected it has to have a separate flasher also the turn signal switch separates the front from the rear of the vehicle the most common colors for the rear turn signals is green goes to right rear and yellow goes to left rear.check to make sure all the light sockets have a good ground. I know this seems complicated but it's not. I hope this helps. Take care. If you have more questions for me use the comment section and it will show up in my email

The engine cooling fan jump on at 172.F is the fan coming on to soon?
If you don't know what temperature setting the fan sensor is you can call AutoZone and ask about the part. They will be able to tell you what temperature it's set at. I have always found if it us running cooler than it should it will decrease your gas mileage. So Yes if your thermostat setting is to low or Stuck Open it will make I run colder than it should and drop your gas mileage. I have a 92 Yukon and it calls for a 198 to 208 thermostat.
I put a 170 in because I added a performance chip. It runs great but my mileage dropped between 5 and 7 mph. Starting in the early 90s they want vehicles to run hotter. I guess that is suppose to make them burn cleaner. If you haven't changed your thermostat I would do that first. Then if it still runs cold replace the fan switch. Hope this helps you

02 subaru 2.5L cylinder lay out and valve adjustment which valves should be closed at tdc
number one is the closest to the front, (l/h side from the rear from memory) firing order is 1,4,3,2 (check) all plugs out and check the tdc on both the front pulley and a wooden skewer down the plug hole to check the piston position. with number one in the firing position, the next cylinder to fire will have the inlet and exhaust cam lobes on the 'rock', ie. changing from exhaust to intake. set the clearances on number one cylinder, repeat for each cylinder as the order changes. good luck.

2000 Mercury Sable 3.0 Fuel pump making noise. It's louder than it used to be.
I never heard of a quiet noise? Unfortunately you can't just a fuel pump strictly by noise. Use to be when you heard one making noise it was fixing to go out but that's not true anymore. I replaced one on a S-10 Chevy where the one I replaced made no noise and the brand new one made all kinds of noise. Fuel pumps usual work or they don't work so you usually don't get the noise warning anymore. If the performance is good and it's running fine I wouldn't worry about it. Hope this helps you.

Car wont start by ignition, have to start with wire , now when i start it it keep trying to turn over , JUst help
The first thing you need to do is trouble shoot why the ignition isn't sending the signal to the starter. This could be either a bad ignition switch, bad neutral safety switch, or bad part of the harness. The easiest way to do this is to hook a test light to the small post on the starter solenoid and this will tell you when the starter receives the 12v signal from the key. Now you can test the ignition switch to make sure that you have a 12v source, and that the switch is sending the 12v out when in the crank position. Then test that the neutral switch has the 12v signal and that it is sending it thru when in park or neutral. Another thing to look for is if your car has any fuseable links. Having the starter stuck and cranking for an extended period of time definitely pulls alot of amps and can burn up links. You can pull the starter and have it tested at any national parts store, I believe I would plan on changing it.
