SOURCE: 2004 buick regal evaporative emission control system leak gross l

First thing to check is the gas cap, make certain it is tight and the cap seal is not damaged or cut. In many cases this is the root cause for the P0455.
If that checks good, you want to check the vacuum hoses from the EVAP purge solenoid under the hood, all the way back to the EVAP canister. Make certain all are connected and not damaged or cracked.
Let me know.

SOURCE: oil sending unit on 2004 chrysler sebring V6

Should be located close to the oil filter. It will screw in like a spark plug. It has a harness plug. Easy to change, save yourself $70 in labor. You will need a fairly large wrench to remove

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter located on a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Sedan

Some of the Sebrings have two filters(one is called a sock). The sock(which all sebrings have) is located in the fuel tank itself on the pump module. If this model is the JXI then the external filter is located on the belly of the car between the tank and drivers rear seat. I hope I could help!!!

This depends on the problem , like a bad gas cap is not covered but so what a cap is cheap, take it to dealer and let them fix it for free or very cheap. most of the time its a valve, purge valve or vent valve, these are covered, take it before you hit 80,000. good luck.

Where is the canister purge valve solenoid located on the car EVAP

All modern cars are equipped with an Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP)
system. The EVAP system prevents fuel vapors from the fuel tank from escaping into the atmosphere. The EVAP system collects and temporarily stores the fuel vapors in the charcoal canister. The charcoal canister is filled with activated carbon pellets that can absorb the fuel vapors. When the engine is running, the fuel vapors are purged from the canister and burned in the engine.

2004 Sebring failed the emissions testing

Probably not a cheap fix.
The car will not pass the test if the light is on during the test.
The light is on when the computer has a problem that will affect emissions or performance.
You would need to have the computer scanned for trouble codes then fix the problem. Once the problem is fixed and the code is erased, the light should stay off.

What does PO 455 code mean on a 2002 Chrysler Sebring?

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0455 "EVAP LEAK MONITOR LARGE LEAK DETECTED"

This simply means that your Evaporative Emissions Leak Detector monitor has detected a large leak in your Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system.

It is common for this code to set if you refuel your vehicle with the engine running, forget to put the fuel cap back on after refueling, or do not properly install or tighten the fuel cap after refueling. In these cases, it can be fixed by simply installing the cap properly and clearing the code. Also, make sure your engine is turned off when refueling so it dos not happen again.

If none of the above is the cause of this code, then you either have a large leak in one of the hoses, connections, or the fuel tank itself, or the EVAP leak detection pump is defective.

Code 0440 or P0440

p0440 is typically an evaporative emissions code. What that means is gas in your tank evaporates and there is a system (evap system) set in place to manage those evaporations. This system monitors gas tank pressures and releases pressure accordingly. By monitoring pressures it can sometimes be set by leaving the gas cap a little loose after filling up. So the first thing I would check is make sure your cap is tight and get that code cleared out somewhere like a local parts store for free and see if it comes back on.
