SOURCE: i have dual tanks and i'm not sure what wires go

need a wire diagram too for the switch I have discovered that two wires powers the pump to pressurize te lines and other 2 powers the fuel gauge on the dash but 2 wires i don know what they do my gauge doesn't indicate fuel in any combination of the six wires

SOURCE: truck fuel pump only runs if i jump off inside

mine was doing the same...switch was bad. a bit convoluted really but if your high pressure pump is running and not getting your tank pumps to go, unless you jump there at the switch harness prolly the switch.

SOURCE: How does the dual tanks work from the switch on the dash? Is there a selector valve and if so where is it located.

Is this a chevrolet w/ saddle tanks? If so, passenger side in front of fuel tank behind guard... not difficult to change... can acquire @ napa for about $35

Hopefully it's the switch behind the dash. I would try replacing your selector switch before messing with the blend door. You have to pull the dash out to access the blend door

My 99 Chevrolet silverado 4wd not working.ive replaced the dash switch and still nothing .when I turn the key the 4wd switch lights stay on for a split second then goes off. What else should I try?

I have run into to this problem many times on these trucks, i have seen your problem and also where the 4wd high light wont work but 4wd low and 2wd work fine and the 4 wheel drive works fine. on your truck i will bet its the transfer case selector motor.
the motor is what turns the lights on when in the selected mode which goes through the 4wheel module under the dash, this sounds like a bad selector motor and that where i would start. this motor is located on the transfer case, it bolts to the rear of it.here is a picture of it to help you locate it. good day.4_14_2012_12_37_13_pm.jpg

All the speeds on the heater blower don't work. Where do I look? 2001 Chevy silverado 1500. Thank you.

The speed controller on the dash must have one off the selectors faulty. so use a meter to checck the input voltage which is coming in and then the selector switching voltage to the motor coil winding. If voltage ispresent in the switched output then the motor winding can be faulty.
So check under th dash and trry to see if you can test without removing the whole unit.Use a good light to probe , use a multimeter in DC range.

Does a 1986 Ford f-250 have across over switch between fuel tanks and if so where is it?

It should be located near the ac controls. I have an 86 F-150 with dual tanks, and my tank selector switch is in the ac control panel near the glove box. If it is not located in the ac control panel, then it should be located in the dash near the door.

The service4wd is on and the lights on the 4wd switch is not on

The four wheel drive selector range switch has failed. (Dash mounted switch)
There will also be a diagnostic trouble code stored in the onboard computer that will confirm this.
Good luck.

Blower vents on 86 regal

The blend door in the heater box itself is what directs the air to where it needs to go as per selector switch. The heater box is located under the dash.
