SOURCE: remove & replace rod bearing on 2001 dodge

if you think it needs rod bearings, it needs a lot more than that, the engine has to come out and apart. what engine size? its going to be expensive, crankshaft, oil pump, ect. if it has a 2.7 engine they are bad news.

Cost replace wheel bearings

It would depend on where you live and what type of shop is doing the work, but yes that is probably a fair price.
You have to remove the bearing assembly from the axle so labor would be more than an hour, and the part cost is $200 or more.

1992 Mercedes 190E: there is a constantly-runnung air circulation motor somewwhere under the dash; it is wextremely noisy on a cold morning, and I just want to give the motor bearing a shot of lubricant....

think again its under the hood behind the fire wall it should be 6 hex head screw to remove the black panel this is a time consuming job so i would replace the part instead of waisting your time with lube if you want i have the part you need let me know

I have a 1990 bronco, and the driver side power window won't go back up. I believe the motor is shot, and I probably need to fix it, so how would I go about doing that? does anyone have instructions on...

first try to replace the switch,
if not, you have to take out the door panel, and then you'll be able to get to the elevator, the motor comes out easy, it's fixed just with some screws

Loud noise when car first cranks coming from motor

Is this is a 2.7 or 3.2, 3.5 liter? It sounds to me like the valve timing is off enough to make the motor misfire. If this is the case, then the timing chain or belt needs replacement. The 2.7 has a chain that is very involved to change, but can be done. The 3.2 or 3.5 has a belt that is a bit easier to do. Neither one is a cake walk and I would get a manual on this car before working on it. Don't run this motor without checking this out as you may damage it.
