The emission hose routing diagram should be on a 3" x 5" sticker either on the underside of the hood or on the top of the radiator support or on the air cleaner housing cover. It's kind of a symbolic diagram but will indicate what goes where. There are very few vacuum lines on one of these so it should be pretty straight forward.

Prove Out Procedure
Turn the ignition switch from the OFF to the ON position and visually monitor the air bag indicator with all SRS components connected or restraint system diagnostic tools installed. The air bag indicator will light continuously for approximately 6 seconds and then turn off. If an SRS fault is present, the air bag indicator will:
  • fail to light.
  • remain lit continuously.
  • flash.
The flashing might not occur until approximately 30 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned from the OFF to the ON position. This is the time required for the RCM to complete the testing of the SRS. If the air bag indicator is inoperative and an SRS fault exists, a chime will sound in a pattern of 5 sets of 5 beeps. If this occurs, the air bag indicator will need to be repaired before diagnosis can continue.
Diagnosing Customer Concerns Without Hard DTCs
If a lamp fault code (LFC) is reported by the customer but is not present when the vehicle comes in for service, follow the Diagnostic Instruction procedures in this section to identify the intermittent diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
Once the DTC is known, read the Normal Operation section of the pinpoint test for the DTC involved.
  • Follow the deactivation or depowering procedure as directed in this section.
  • Determine the location of components involved in creating the DTC.
  • Carry out a thorough visual inspection of:
    • components.
    • connectors.
    • splices and wiring harnesses.
    • insulation on conductors.
Refer to the Possible Causes section of the pinpoint test for the DTC involved, which lists the common concerns that relate to the DTC. Concerns are listed according to priority.

Diagnosing Customer Concerns with Hard DTCs
Most supplemental restraint system (SRS) diagnostic procedures will require deactivation and reactivation or depowering and repowering of the system. Deactivation and reactivation requires the disconnection of most SRS components and the installation of restraint system diagnostic tools. Depowering and repowering requires disconnection of the battery and removal of the restraints control module (RCM) fuse. This reduces the risk of inadvertent deployment of SRS components while diagnostic procedures are being carried out.
Restraint system diagnostic tools are required for the diagnosis and testing of the SRS. It is not acceptable to short-circuit the air bag module connections with a jumper wire. If a jumper wire is used to short-circuit the air bag module connections, a LFC will be displayed.
You need more then a code read too see these DTC'S . Your need a factory or some other professional type scan tool .

  1. If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, GO to Symptom Chart .

The drain plug on this radiator is plastic, nearly impossible to reach, and highly likely to leak if you do get it loose. I try to never loosen them up because of this. I would first test to see what the freeze point of the coolant is and then if you need to add some 100% antifreeze to lower the freeze point remove some coolant from the reserve tank and add the correct type of antifreeze back into it there. Use some sort of sucker to remove the coolant, DO NOT use your mouth on a hose to do so. Antifreeze is highly toxic. Coolant will circulate through the reserve [or degas tank as Ford calls it] and will eventually mix thoroughly with the rest of the coolant. -24F to -30F degrees is what the factory mix is usually good for. DO NOT add too much antifreeze as the correct blend is needed for the system to cool properly.

Your in theft mode disconnect the battery cables and clean them and the power distribution box cable then reconnect the cables then use your key fob when the alarm/horn sound to stop it if the problem persists you might have a battery in your key that needs to be replaced

go to ford fleet owners, com and download your owners manual for free then go to roadside emergencies and your power distribution box and passenger fuse box diagrams are in there with relay locations if that's what your looking for otherwise if your car is not starting depending on what is happening denotes what is wrong look at the starter motor there is a braided cable that comes from the solenoid that goes into the front case at the 12:00 o'clock position if it is shredded or broken that's why your getting just a click or 1 clank when you turn the key I knw that you asked for the relay location but I'm assuming there's a no start condition , also clean all the cable connections associated with the battery and the power distribution box corrosion and oxidation of those cable connections will cause a loss of electrical current to pass through causing a no start condition and if there was a break in the power and you didn't know it happened your vehicle is in theft mode [rapid flashing]theft indicator you must have a key fob remote to turn off the alarm when you disconnect and reconnect the battery cables or your car will stay in theft mode if you don't have one get one and follow the programming sequence in the manual that you downloaded in locks and security so that's everything that I can assume you might be having a problem with may be your not but this info also applies to others who read this post good luck stephen

The easiest way to test if the wires to #6 are sending the signal to the injector is to get a noid light and plug it into the harness at the injector providing there is room to access the injector from the injector.

Often times, the positive voltage feeds all the injectors, while the PCM applies ground to each individual injector.

You will need to test continuity from the #6 injector to the PCM with an Ohm test providing you have 12 volts at the injector. The ground opens and shuts once with each intake cycle to provide a fuel charge, so it will blink rapidly. That is normal. If the noid light does not come on but you confirmed 12 volts positive, but no ground then you have an open between the injector and the PCM. If the noid light comes on but does not flash or flicker, then there's either a short to ground in the wire from the injector to the PCM, or a faulty driver within the PCM itself causing an internal short.

First spray out the throttle body with spray cleaner and look inside if you see a real lot of brownish gunk that's varnish from low detergents in fuel take of your egr valve and Clean also check spark plug gaps if after all has been eliminated and the problem persists change your throttle position sensor

The switch could be faulty. You could try unplugging the leads from the transfer case then using a test light to see if the power is getting to the actuator.

If you mean that the heat is working for the floor but will not come out of the defroster vents or anywhere else it's the blend door actuator that controls which area to send the airflow or do you mean there's no heat at all from any position //no fan no power? If so you need to go to ford owners.Com and download the latest version of the owners manual then go to roadside emergencies and your fuse box diagrams and fuse values are there and the relays location also if all fuses are good then either the blend door actuator failed or the blower motor resistor the actual defroster switch /the ac / heater control panel switch please go to rockauto.Com and look in the heat/ac section & the electrical switch and relay section to see what your parts look like you can run jump wires from the battery to test them or a volt meter

It should be located on the drivers side, lower left, you will have to look almost under the dash to see it, if it needs resetting you will see a red button, just push it in to reset, this is usually caused by someone hitting your vehicle when it's parked, it's a safety feature to cut the fuel flow from the pump in the event of an accident, hope this helps.
