Dodge Cars & Trucks - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
I hit a deer in my 2002 Dodge Caravan SE. The van ran for about a half mile then lost power. Now it won't start.
Hi from my experience
On modern cars there is a fuel cut off switch which in the event of a collision cuts the fuel off to help prevent spillage and cut engine out.
Some vehicles they are resettable, normally under the bonnet mounted on the bulk head, they vary in shape and size, but the ones ive come across are black square body mainly until they get to the top of the switch they go round in shape and there is a rubber cover on top, and the rubber has a slight depression which you press down on to reset the switch.
Normally this is enough to get the vehicle started if not you might have damage the fuel pump/fuel cut off switch relay's
Hope this helps.

Rear defrost not working on 1999 Dodge Durango
There should be 2 wires connected to the defrost element. You will need a meter which measures 12 volt DC. When you turn on the defrost, it should measure 12 volts DC across these 2 wires. If there is no voltage, you have a power supply fault. Broken wire of switch. If voltage is there, then there will be a break in the defrost element. These can be repaired. There is a special type of glue / repair kit that can be purchased from most Auto part stores.
2004 over heatihg on dodge grand caravan
There are several items you can check for a vehicle that is overheating. First start with the fan. Is it working? Next, check the coolant level and make sure it is full. Are there any leaks under the vehicle? Take a look at the oil. Do you see a milky substance in the oil? Also, check the thermostat for proper operation. Check the radiator for any external blockage, like a build up of leaves that would prevent air flow. Check on these things and report back to this forum.
